Revised Intro Demokratia

I added sounds effect to make the introduction more interesting.  Sounds include applause for graduation, an announcement of the Wall Street station, and noise from a Wall Street Trading Floor.  This new introduction will replace the mid-term introduction in the final project.

Exercise 2: Course Journey

My goal is to become a better storyteller. 

Like the sport of rugby, good storytelling requires preparation and practice.

As in any course...

I encountered obstacles

I struggled with not liking the sound of my own voice and the production of a story that sounded more like a report rather than a compelling story.

In response...

I sought the advise of a coach

The course instructor, as my coach, provided feedback and told me my voice is not s bad as thought.

My coach also helped me to better understand why my story sounded more like a report rather than a story.

Also...

I joined a team

...called a Story Circle.

We worked together toward the common goal of becoming better story tellers.

Working with this Story Circle team I gained further insights into how to better structure my story.   

With guidance from my coach and support of my team

I will push through obstacles

I will get around obstacles

and I will accelerate toward my goal.
